my pram heaven

Why a blog about prams and baby products?? Well ...I decided I needed a place to store product information , while I contemplate the 'perfect' pram for the next baby.If you are anything like me, you will want to see images of the products in use, what colours,reviews,videos.. as a colour swatch or photo in a magazine certainly doesn't tell you if it is good or not.(no matter how impressive the hype was)..and yes ,before you ask..I have joined the millions out there who have accepted they have pram ocd!
I have been parenting special needs children for 16 years, as well as having children through the home through respite caregiving and now, fostercare.
I have found it frustrating to have to ask shops,''is this recommended for special needs children'' and to see that most pushchairs and strollers are not well suited to our children.

As I have made the conscious decision to adopt a child with special needs I still find I need to do more research than the average parent. what suprises me is the lack of companies that offer products aimed at or tested for children with special needs..so this is where I come in!

Everything I am posting on here is going to be given my stamp of approval.
I will do this by testing the products myself, or researching it to death and giving you the best overview I can ..until I can test one in the flesh! ( this will usually mean pushchairs and strollers not yet in New Zealand.)
I hope you will find my blog useful , maybe even funny , as you might recognise some of my favourite products from your past!

i think it is really great what you are doing. maybe you can write away to pram makers telling them that you would like to do a review on their pram for special needs children and they may let you test drive one for a week. i read a lady's review who did that in NY City(not special needs)and she wrote about how they function in her city for her needs. it was really good besides the fact that i dont live in a city that has a sub way lol
but you could be like the mother who breaks in to the industry and starts to get proper testing on products for special needs children , well lets face it, it is much needed.
